Minimal and surreal illustrations by Korean artist Henn Kim are heavily evocative; they suggest deep feelings and emotions through visual connections and unexpected juxtapositions.
Henn’s works seem to be the representation of Dadaism poetry or Freud’s the Interpretation of Dreams. A sort of automatic drawing (instead of Surrealist automatic writing) that allow the unconscious to express itself.
A free flow of visions and sensations depicted through essential, black and white figures (especially female ones) who act in a world of giant objects. Metaphoric illustrations of emotions. A window opened on our subconscious.
