The PhotoPhore is very pleased to present one of the WINNERS of the photography contest LIVING THE NATURE, the first event part of the project FOCUS PHOTO WEEKS: Gabri Solera, with his photo “Think Green“, selected by The PhotoPhore.
Gabri Solera is a Spanish photographer, graduate in Journalism at the Complutense University, with a master in Digital and Creative Photography at EFTI. As photographer, he participated in Descubrimientos PHE 2012 and in prestigious fairs such as ARCO, Estampa, Entrefotos, Salida de Emergencia (Madrid) and MirartePhoto (Guadalajara).

Gabri Solera realized several solo exhibitions in Madrid and took part in collective exhibitions at IVAM (Valencia), at Guggenheim Museum (Bilbao), at Cervantes Institute, at Círculo de Bellas Artes and at the City Hall (Madrid), at the Antonio Saura Foundation (Cuenca). He also exhibited his works in Germany, France, Holland, Portugal, China and Brazil.

Gabri won competitions such as the Alliance Française, Olympus, Fotoactitudes, Eurostars Hotels, La Máquina and he was selected in contests as “Plastic Arts Award” (both in Cáceres and Seville), “Young Creators“, “Impossible to Label” (Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid and Santander), “The Ground” (Canary Islands).

Gabri Solera’s works has been published in various reviews, such as New Landscape Photography and Peripheral Arteries (NY), Journal du Net (Paris), Photographic Museum and Shots Photography Competition (London). He also participated in the book “Contemporáneos” (30 Photographers of Today), edited by La Fábrica. Gabri Solera works also as a photographer and editor for Getty Images.
