The American photographer Coke Wisdom O’Neal works on the portraiture in a non traditional ways: his models are pent into small glass cubes or placed in big wood boxes.
“I have learned my trade and developed my vision without traditional training.” he said.
“My travels, both domestic and abroad, have given me knowledge of the world and the passion to document it.”
Coke Wisdom O’Neal works often on the “box idea“: he sets models in a delimited spaces and let them adapte to these unusual spaces.
He tries to include in his works, not only the mere photograph, but the interactions with subjects: between subjects and objects and between subjects and observers.
