Benjamin Henon’s unique and recognisable still-life photography employs complex and delicate lighting techniques to stage the objects he portrays in an unexpected and often off-beat way.
He has specialised in shots of luxury items (drinks, perfumes, jewellery, cosmetics) and excels in bringing out the elegance and refinement of the objects he photographs.
Born in 1976, Benjamin Henon grew up in Senlis, a small town in the North of France. In 1999 he was admitted into the Parisian public school of photography Les Gobelins. His early works focused mostly on urban landscapes, and in 2003 he participated in a travelling exposition organised by the AFAA (today Cultures France) called Images et Paysages, which included the most prestigious contemporary French landscape photographers.
He worked with clients like: Dolce & Gabbana, Cartier, Chanel, Vuitton, Azzaro, Coty, Puig Parfums, Georland, L’oreal, Yue sai, The kopples, Harry Winston… and magazines like Air France madame, Télérama, The room, Qvest etc.
