The PhotoPhore is proud to be partner of the 20th Anniversary of the ART Innsbruck. Johanna Penz, foundress and director of the ART Innsbruck, has decided to organize two art fairs in the anniversary year of 2016 (in January and December), and starting from 2017 there will be an ART Innsbruck Complementary each spring.
Every year in Spring, international visual arts and antiques from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries are presented at ART Innsbruck. 90 exhibitors including gallery owners and art dealers from 10 nations will be exhibiting paintings, original graphics, sculptures, photography, new media, antique furniture, carpets, glass, porcelain and other treasures in 2016 edition.
For the 20th edition of the Innsbruck art fair, the moving into the new main hall A at the Innsbruck fairground and near to the newly erected, enormously impressive exhibition centre entrance, have been able to reinforce the fair’s successful brand and upgrade it significantly for the exhibitors as well as for visitors.
The fact that this will be a great and special show is already certain: “We will bring an opalescent and truly iconic anniversary exhibition exclusively to Innsbruck,” remarks Penz. She and her long-time partner in organising special shows, the Innsbruck gallery owner Clemens Rhomberg, are bringing “Mel Ramos: Pin-Up Girls” into the Alpine city.
The Anniversary fair, which opens its gates for the first time in the evening of 27 January 2016 (preview) and will continue until 31 January 2016 inclusively, has been completely sold out for weeks now. The fair manageress states that once again she managed to attract some of the most interesting and internationally successful galleries to Innsbruck, which is also a perfect incitement for her future development plans.
