Agata Wierzbicka is an interdisciplinary designer who works on a junction of architecture, design and art. She is interested in small scale design such as space creation, art installations, exhibition and furniture design, visual identity and illustration.
In her designs she uses architectural knowledge to create spaces that provokes events and particular situations. She looks for relation between people as space actors and their spacial identity, caused by non linear processes and emergent phenomenon.
Wierzbicka received her education at the Architecture for Society of Knowledge Faculty at TU Warsaw and Furniture Design Specialty at Faculty of Wood Technology at Warsaw Agricultural University. She also studied architecture at Hogeschool Voor Wetenschap und Kunst in Brussels, Belgium.
She gained her experience while working in architectural and design offices across Europe, in Amsterdam, Munich, Eskilstuna (Sweden) and Warsaw. Many times she participate in art workshops in Paris, Dublin, Warsaw and Gdansk.
