Natalie Foss is a Norwegian freelance illustrator based in Oslo. She works in different fields, primarily with coloured pencils, focusing on strong colours, portraits and emotions.
Natalie has studied two years at Strykejernet School of Art in Oslo, and has a BA in illustration from Kingston University in London.
The whimsicality of Natalie Foss’ universe is reinforced by poetic patterns adorning the clothes of her figures, and she creates her personal iconography on the centre line of two/three-dimensional space.
“I work mostly with color pencils and colored paper, with focus on feelings and expressions. I usually find inspiration in people, music, animals, subcultures, feelings, fashion, thoughts and a good cup of coffee. I love colors, faces and quirky things, and enjoy experimenting.”
