Adam Martinakis creates high detailed digital art using 3D software. He strongly believes that 3d art is the medium that will dominate the future, being a fast and expressive art tool.
Adam’s art is focused on universal feelings and situations, such as childhood or sadness and love, and it explores the physicality as a symbol of human presence. He is interested in everything that holds an exciting story as classical subjects that contain timeless morals.
The mystery of existence (and the absence of it) is his biggest inspiration, as well as, the human emotions and the relations that take place between them. Our connection and reference to the greater environment, the universe and beyond is also an intriguing subject for his investigation. The digital medium itself is a great source of inspiration for Adam.
Born in Lubań, Poland, Adam Martinakis moved to Athens and studied Interior Architecture, Decorative Arts and Industrial Design. Since the 2000, he has been working and experimenting on computer-generated visual media (3d digital image – animation, digital sculpture, digital video, new media).
Adam had been teaching digital arts and design, graphics, interior design and ceramic design in many art institutes. Member of the Greek Chamber of Fine Arts, he lives and works in Poland, Greece and the UK.
